Pleasant between The Mayor's XI and Redcar
British Legion XI in aid of the Poppy Appeal
2009. Tickets are £2 and the match kicks-off
at 2.30pm. Come and give your support to our
Armed Forces!!!

Marske have captured the signing of
experienced goalscorer Danny Brunskill from
Whitby Town. 'Bruno' started his career with
Marske United before enjoying spells with
North Shields, Bishop Auckland, Durham City
and Whitby Town. He is eligible to play in
the FA Vase, and is fit to be included in
Saturday's squad for our trip to Birtley
Town.

United have captured the signature of highly
rated forward Tom Raw from Whitby. Billy
Park Chairman said " this is a great signing
for the club and shows our intent. Tom had
other opportunities elsewhere before signing
for us. The manager is looking to strengthen
in other areas and hopefully other signings
will follow soon. "

Marske sign
former youngster Rob Jones:
Rob is an ex -Marske junior who has had a
successful spell in the Wearside League with
New Marske. Billy Park Chairman said " Rob
is an excellent addition to the squad who
will give us something different. " Rob will
be available for this Saturdays game at home
to promotion chasers Whitehaven.

United are once again supporting an
initiative to raise funds for the Mike
Findley MND Fund. They are having a raffle
that includes a first prize of tickets to
see Middlesbrough .v. Derby on Tuesday 20th
October 2009 with transport to and from the
game 'locally' including meal and drinks in
the Fenton Lounge and seats in the West
Stand. There are 2 runners up prizes of £100
cash and 2 Marske United season tickets.
Raffle tickets are £20 but only 100 maximum
will be sold . Billy Park Chairman said " We
are very proud of our record of supporting
local charities and in particular Mikes MND
fund. This is a tremendous prize and with
only a limited number of tickets being sold
people have a great opportunity of winning
it ". Tickets can be obtained by telephoning
