In what can only be described as an awful first half for us as we failed to get going, Town deservedly took the lead on 34 minutes, but a minute before half time Benn Thompson gave us a lifeline when he headed in Rob Jones' quickly taken free kick.

We upped our game in the second half and created many more opportunities. The winner coming midway through the half as Tommy Raw set up Jones to score.

What matters the most is despite our performance, we managed to scrape a victory and continue our push towards promotion.

The Northallerton stretcher came on to the field twice in five minutes as first Richie Ward was carried from the field after a bad injury, followed closely behind by Town's number 10, minutes later.
Hopefully both injuries looked/sounded worse than they actually were.
